I’ve always been drawn to stories—the kind that unfold in ordinary moments and somehow become the ones we hold onto the longest.

The way your dad looks at you on your wedding day.
The sound of your kids laughing as the sun begins to set.
The quiet in-between moments that often go unnoticed, but later mean everything.

I believe these moments are gifts—grace woven into everyday life—and they are the ones I care most about preserving.

Whether it’s a wedding, a growing family, or a small business built with heart, every story deserves to be seen and remembered.

I capture the stories written in wild places and quiet ones.

Hi, I’m Alysa!

My approach is simple: I don’t just want to take photos—I want to tell your story.

Kindred & Hearth Studio was born out of a deep love for connection—gathering people together, sharing stories, and creating something that lasts beyond us.

My faith in God has shaped the way I see these moments—the belief that our lives, our relationships, and the stories we carry are meaningful and intentionally given. I believe there’s something sacred about the spaces where people feel at home—whether that’s around a table, out on a trail, or in the middle of a full, beautiful life.

Growing up in Colorado, I’ve always been drawn to the mountains and the unknown, but just as much to the quiet, grounded moments—the warmth of home, the people who know you best, and the stories that are passed down over time.

I believe there is purpose in those contrasts—between the wild and the familiar—and I see them as reminders of the beauty in both exploration and rest.

Because of my faith in God, I see these moments as more than memories—they are gifts, woven with meaning and intention.

And one day, these images will become part of your legacy—how you’re remembered, and how your story lives on.

I’d be honored to tell it.

I’m an adventurer at heart…

Let’s get to know each other!

If something here resonated with you, I’d love to hear your story and what you’re dreaming up.
